The Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is the region’s premier provider of business consulting and training services for the existing and aspiring business owner. The SBDC delivers quality consulting, instructive and relevant training and complete resources to over 5,000 business prospects every year. The SBDC mission is to help you build a better business.
With a staff of 15 dedicated people, SBDC has four full-time offices and 7 outreach locations that allow for easy access to our services. We offer over 240 training workshops to ensure that important business topics are addressed. As a federally sponsored program with local cash match partnerships, the SBDC is able to provide its services at little or no cost.

Timely and hassle-free access to expansion capital for land, building, or equipment, long-term loans with no prepayment penalty, 10% - 20% low down payment, interest rates that are 20 – 30% below standard commercial lending rates. Available only through the CALED -sponsored California Enterprise Development Authority.
CalCAP – A Small Business Loan Program - (916) 654-5610
CalCAP is a form of loan portfolio insurance which may provide up to 100% coverage on certain loan defaults. By participating in CalCAP, lenders have available to them a proven financing mechanism to meet the financing needs of California's small businesses. CalCAP insures bank loans made to a diverse array of small businesses (500 employees or less located in CA) to assist them in growing their business. Loans can be used to finance the acquisition of land, construction or renovation of buildings, the purchase of equipment, other capital projects and working capital. There are limitations on real estate loans and loan refinancing. The maximum loan amount is $2.5 million over a three-year period.
